Maxtrac

Here is the most confusing model of them all.
The first three characters in model number must be D27 or D37. D27 is the low power, D37 is the High Power versions.  These models need some Hardware changes including some VCO replacements, front panel replacement as well as a Software modifications. We do have members that have the ability and components to do this. This then would allow for 16 channel unit. These mods could cost you from $30 to $70 depending on parts. So this would be on top of the cost of the radio.

The D25, D35 are 800MHZ - D34, D44 are 403-430 or 450-470MHZ, D33, D43 are 136-164 or 146-164 and they all look alike. Be sure you know what you are buying.
