Radios?

This is really a loaded question, everyone will have their preferences, had to change a "Died in the Wool" Kenwood man or a Yeasu freak like me. However many years ago I was strictly a MOTO (Motorola) MAN.

My research on this subject leans towards the Motorola Maxtrac and the Motorola GTX series radios. Several reasons dictate this. We have better resources for for the equipment and people that know what they are doing with them technically. I personally know my way around them myself. ARRG.US will do more research on other manufactures and invite any one with good information to e-mail it to ARRG.US. Most of the information here has been tested and is used in working stations.

There are several "Groups" on yahoo that have been dedicated to the technical end, sometimes it is hard to interpret some of the levels of Tech that they talk. We hope to make things a little easier so that the use of this band may grow here in Central Florida.

More information yet to come.
